Yes, people! I'm Technique, and I am the Bedroom Genius 'A & R' scout. I'm a vinyl junkie, muso, fashion style lover, traveller and late-night club & bar regular.
I'm looking for spoken word poets, emcees who properly respect their artform and its history, bands with their own sound, DJs who can read a crowd and then play to them and singer-song writers and lead vocalists for Bedroom Genius events.

The Specials - Gangsters (2 Tone Records)
I grew up in London in the late 1970s. Back then there was only one medium to see music on television and that was a programme called 'Top of The Pops'. All the cool teenagers then were either Skinheads, Punks or Rasatafarians. Ska was bang right in the middle. Two-Tone was its style code, epitomised here best by The Specials - Gangsters (1979).
