Cole photographs fashion, people, and all things ambiguous. Shooting entirely on 4x5" and 35mm black-and-white film, and crafting his prints entirely by hand, Cole's photography lives in the hazy cross-over of art and commerce. Interested primarily in the pictorial representation of human emotions and forms, his primary influences are Jeanloup Sieff, Paolo Roversi, Sarah Moon and Jeff Cowen, along with a host of musicians and visual artists.
He was an honours graduate of the Photography programme at Red River College of Applied Arts, Sciences and Technology, and is currently building up his personal portfolio of work, while pursuing work with designers, publishers, and a range of interested creative parties.

Along with his photography, Cole creates/performs drone music under the guise 'Gomeisa' (http://www.the-lotus.org/gomeisa/).
Cole loves his work to death.
'Remnant' was shot in the summer of 2008, as a commissioned series of photographs for Alesha Frederickson, an emerging fashion designer currently based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
All images were photographed on large-format film and printed by hand. Certain chemical reactions in developing the photographs were exploited to create the soft, muted and sometimes psychedelic tones of these images.
