About Rubenas_boy

I like photographing images that challenge and inspire thoughts and emotions. To me, every subject has a soul which deserves to be seen, felt or heard.
I also write music much in the same way. I specialize in everything and nothing because I believe the emphasis is not what an artist creates, the beauty lies in the inspiration which spawns the creation.
I'm inspired by music and the little things in life but I'm driven by my loved ones who have believed in and at times supported me.
My commissions have included Bacardi, Caterpillar Clothing, Diesel, Levi's and People Tree and I have been published in K Magazine, id, Max (voted in top 5 contemporary fashion photographers 2008), Independent News papers, New York Times and Metro London to name but a few.
At the moment I'm working on a couple of projects, one a portrait the other a sound & vision installation. I have a strong desire to teach and once a year take on an intern from SAIT university in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
